The loss of a family member could be hardly bearable So I will share my top things what helped me in this difficult time then, so maybe it will help u too when needed... 1.Spiritual practices like yoga, meditation, breathing techniques daily and as often as possible satsangs(likeminded ppl gatherings with yoga knowledge& chanting mantras(u let go of the suppressed feelings by it)... 2.Animals - they r healing and therapeutic, especially labradors.., as they always come when u cry 3.Supportive best friends, who came and was there when u most needed them...and never ran away... 4.Crying, cry as much as you can to let go all that grief... 5.Writing it out to let go... 6.Travelling and being in nature a lot...or around likeminded(in my case spiritual) ppl.. 7.Prayer... 8.Being busy(at that time I was modelling in London..) 9.Having a supportive partner who can support u at hard time and lift u up by surprises, flowers or just cuddles... 10.Taking time to grief as much as u need, ppl who try to hurry up-they probably didn't loose their father or didn't have close relationship and doesn't understand how hurts that... 11.Pampering yourself and loving, taking care of urself... 12.Deep introspection into yourself - I was in such deep analysis, that came up with this conclusion: Life is to short what is not love of ur life and not to spread YOGA, and then packed my stuff and left LDN for India to become a yoga teacher... 13.Eating fresh nutritious plant based food and using some superfoods like Acai, Spirulina or etc..
